Stout Heart is pleased to introduce you, our new Senior Art Director, Salvador (Sal) Ortiz!
Sal is a multidisciplinary Graphic Designer and Art Director built in the Dominican Republic and assembled in the USA. He has over 13 years of industry experience with advertising, visual communications, and design. During this time, he has learned to pay attention not only to the way things look but also to the big picture theories and concepts that make an impact both from artistic and business standpoints. He is ambitious and passionate about all things creative – especially typography, digital solutions, and branding.
His background as an art director has taught him to absorb the world. His career in advertising began with Mullen Lowe, a sister company of The IPG Group in 2006. Sal then went on to McCann Erickson where he became an Art Director working with brands like Coca Cola, American Airlines, Cadbury and Nestle. Then he relocated to New Hampshire and kept working with B2B and B2C agencies like MReach and GYKAntler before jumping to the client-side, as a Design Manager at Athenahealth in Watertown, then Sr. Digital Brand Designer at Curriculum Associates in North Billerica. Now, he had made the jump back to the “agency world” with his new role at Stout Heart, and he is loving every second of it.
